At the Centre we retell the story of the camp through the words, artefacts and ephemera of the people who experienced it, from the authorities and relief workers, those running and guarding the camps, and the internees who lived there as well as the families they left at home. Here we introduce just a selection of the individuals, the stories of so many more are told at the Visitor Centre.
