Here at Knockaloe we tell the story of the civilians caught up on the wrong side of war, and of the camp network which was to play a fundamental part in their experience of WW1, the centre of which, and the largest camp by far, being here at Knockaloe, where the vast majority of those interned spent all or part of WW1.
